location, location, location!!!

Situated perfectly between two major metropolitan areas, life in Champaign County offers you the opportunity to escape the hustle-bustle, expense and stress of the big city, yet be less than 45 minutes away when you do need to visit Gotham.  From the center of the county, downtown Columbus is a mere 43 miles distance and downtown Dayton is just 41 miles away.  Obviously, the edges of the metro area are closer yet.

Usually, the lasting impression about Champaign County with anyone from outside the area is one of beautiful countryside views and agriculture; when you peel back the layers and look at the other tangible and intangible factors, we think you'll find your "hidden gem" in a number of different ways.  Even though we're not officially within either the Dayton or Columbus metro areas, both can be accessed in less drive time than typical metro commuters usually expect to drive to work.  We think you will find doing business from and in Champaign County to pay real dividends.

The region is typically not prone to the wild swings of prosperity and depression when other parts of the state and national/world markets are reacting to movements in the economy.  Labor, materials and transportation cost tend to remain steady, yet competitive, but are not prone to either extreme.  The region was recently sited in a national study showing that we are in one of the most affordable houseing markets in the United States.  An intangible to consider...small town life is less hectic, more engaging and frankly, more fulfilling.  If you're not enjoying what you're doing, what's the point?
