Economic development in Champaign County is a team effort.  In addition to having a county-level economic department, each village administrator, the city of Urbana community development personnel and township trustees work to recruit, retain and grow businesses.

Business recruitment and retention

We are very interested in helping current businesses to prosper, new businesses to spawn and those businesses looking at new investment in our county to arrive at an easy decision to do so.

part of a larger family

Our efforts are not done in a vacuum.  In our effort to bring jobs to the region and better the quality-of-life for our citizens, we actively partner with the Ohio Department of Development, Dayton Development Coalition and our neighboring county economic development contemporaries.
